Outpatient Program (OP)
Our traditional outpatient program (OP) is designed for individuals who have completed inpatient, PHP, or IOP treatment and are ready to transition back into their daily lives while continuing to receive support. This program focuses on providing ongoing care and guidance, offering participants the flexibility to manage their personal responsibilities as they work toward recovery.
With its minimally restrictive schedule, OP empowers guests to pursue their recovery goals at their own pace. It also fosters a sense of connection by allowing participants to strengthen their support network within the Royal recovery community, all while living at home or in a sober living environment.

Outpatient Programs at Royal Life Centers
The final level of care within our outpatient treatment is our traditional outpatient program. Royal Life Centers at Cascade Heights’ outpatient program smoothly transitions guests from IOP into the least restrictive form of care. This program is designed for individuals who have completed a higher level of care and are ready to continue their recovery journey in a more independent setting.
Our traditional outpatient program offers flexibility for those with work or school commitments, allowing them to attend therapy sessions and groups during evenings or weekends. We believe that maintaining a balance between personal responsibilities and recovery is crucial for long-term success.
Practicing Self-Sufficiency in Outpatient Treatment
In outpatient treatment, guests will continue to receive individual counseling, group therapy, and addiction education on a less frequent basis than in IOP. These therapies are designed to address key components of addiction recovery, such as relapse prevention, coping skills, communication techniques, stress management, and other group-specific topics. Our experienced therapists will work with each guest to create an individualized treatment plan that addresses their specific needs and goals.
Our team collaborates closely with family members and loved ones to offer guidance and education on supporting their loved one’s recovery journey. We recognize that addiction affects not just the individual suffering from addiction, but also their relationships and support network. Sober Living In IOP
After completing our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs and securing employment, outpatient guests transition to our Graduate Housing, a sober living property designed for those ready to embrace more independence. At Royal’s Graduate House, guests enjoy greater freedom while still having the option to participate in our outpatient program.
Our sober living homes provide a comfortable and supportive environment, featuring amenities like flat-screen TVs in spacious living rooms and bedrooms, walk-in closets, on-site laundry facilities, and access to Royal Life Centers’ resources and sober community.
At both Royal Life Housing and Graduate Housing, our dedicated sober living staff are available around the clock to offer support and guidance. Graduates of Royal Life Centers at Cascade Heights receive ongoing support throughout their recovery journey. This includes access to our sober living homes, alumni coordinators, and a wealth of resources to help them thrive in their new chapter of life.
Frequently Asked Questions
Paying rent for sober housing begins after we help you find employment during PHP. This includes guests participating in intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment.
The length of our traditional outpatient treatment is at minimum one month. Knowing that each individual’s journey to recovery is unique, some people may require a longer or shorter time frame. That is why our outpatient treatment schedules are completely customizable, providing the level of support you need to maintain your sobriety.
Cascade Heights provides two separate sobering living options within our treatment program, Royal Life Housing and Graduate Housing, to ensure the appropriate amount of care and surveillance is given to each and every guest.
Those who are navigating through an earlier stage of recovery require a higher level of care than our guests who have solidified their recovery resolve in outpatient treatment. For instance, Royal guests entering PHP benefit greatly from the accountability measures provided in Royal Life Housing as they are still transitioning from residential care to partial hospitalization.
We are dedicated to providing the safest and most beneficial level of care within our treatment programs and transitional housing services. With that being said, we also acknowledge that our guests in our outpatient program prosper in less restrictive environments which is why we provide our Graduate House for those in OP.
