What Is Alcohol and Drug Treatment in Washington State Like?
At Royal Life Centers, we offer a range of treatment options tailored to meet the unique needs of each guest. Our programs provide structured care, support, and guidance to help individuals achieve lasting recovery.
Alcohol and Drug Detox
After entering treatment with Royal Life Centers, guests undergo a medically supervised detox for drugs or alcohol. The length of stay is determined on a case-by-case basis following an individual assessment, ensuring a safe and effective detoxification process.
Residential Inpatient
Our 14-day inpatient program is designed to provide a strong foundation for recovery. Guests participate in daily mandatory group and individual therapy sessions, focusing on intensive healing and personal growth.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
As the first step in our outpatient levels of care, PHP offers structured therapy in seminar-style groups while guests continue working with their primary therapist and case manager. Sessions are held six days a week, six hours per day. Most PHP participants stay in our sober living facilities for additional support.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Intensive outpatient treatment is a less strict level of outpatient care, often offered after PHP. To help guests transition into their daily routine outside of our facility, this phase of treatment is divided into two stages:
- Phase 1 (Transitional Phase) – Guests attend five days per week, three hours per day, with access to all PHP resources.
- Phase 2 – Group sessions decrease to three days per week, three hours per day, allowing for greater independence while maintaining structured support.
Outpatient Program (OP)
For individuals with busy schedules who still want to remain connected to the Royal Life Family, our outpatient program (OP) provides the most flexible treatment option. OP guests attend group therapy once per week and individual therapy at least once per month. This way, guests can still receive clinical and peer support while juggling work, school, or other commitments.
Our OP program is also a great option for those who have completed our residential treatment program and are transitioning back into their daily lives. It allows for a smooth and gradual transition while still keeping guests connected to the recovery community and providing them with ongoing support.
Royal Life Sober Living and Transitional Housing
Guests working through PHP, IOP, and OP can live in our sober living houses in Washington State. Graduates of our outpatient programs who secure employment are invited to transition into Royal Life “Graduate” Housing. This phase offers increased independence, including visitor privileges, a later curfew, and overnight passes, helping guests smoothly reintegrate into daily life while maintaining a supportive recovery environment.
